Learning Objectives:
Overall Goal:
To enhance the multidisciplinary clinical and surgical competencies of healthcare profes- sionals involved in male infertility and IVF through a case-based, hands-on, and
evidence-based approach led by international experts.
After attending this masterclass, participants will be able to:
1. Improve knowledge and diagnostic capabilities in male infertility:
Understand the implications of updated semen analysis guidelines (WHO 6th Edition) on
clinical practice.
Evaluate the role of sperm DNA fragmentation and genetic testing in non-obstructive
azoospermia.
Gain insights into the integration of AI in sperm assessment.
2. Optimize case-based clinical decision-making:
Approach complex infertility scenarios such as recurrent pregnancy loss, varicocele management, and hormonal therapy in azoospermia.
Engage in expert-led discussions on controversial and evidence-sensitive topics.
3. Enhance microsurgical and laboratory technical skills:
Acquire hands-on microsurgical techniques relevant to varicocelectomy, vaso-epididymal
anastomosis, and micro-TESE.
Learn tissue processing and sperm retrieval techniques from real laboratory case videos.
4. Collaborate in multidisciplinary fertility management:
Coordinate male and female treatment protocols for couples with infertility.
Integrate andrology, gynecology, and embryology approaches in ART cycles.
5. Apply the latest international guidelines in daily practice:
Understand and implement the 2025 GAF Guidelines on varicocele, SDF, NOA, and premature
ejaculation.
Evaluate recent advances in male sexual dysfunction management including regenerative
therapies and penile implants.
